109th Airmen Prepare for Deployment at Southern Strike Exercise
U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 109th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron reviewed simulated patients' paperwork over the skies of Mississippi on March 11, 2024. The Airmen participated in a joint military exercise called Southern Strike, designed to strengthen contingency response operations such as aeromedical evacuation, airfield protection by security forces, specialized fueling operations, and rotary aviation medevac and airlift.
