NASA Haughton-Mars Project

The Haughton-Mars Project Moon-1 Humvee Rover slowly drives from the belly of a 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft in Resolute, Canada. The C-130 provided much needed airlift support transporting the "Moon-1" from Cambridge Bay Canada to Resolute Canada. HMP supports an exploration program aimed at developing new technologies, strategies, human's factors experience, and field-based operational know-how key to planning the future exploration of the Moon and Mars.
