109th AES gains new commander

Lt. Col. Penny Hodges-Goetz (right) receives the flag of command for the 109th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, Minnesota Air National Guard from Col. Greg Haase, Commander 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard during a change of command on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the 133rd Airlift Wing dining hall on the air base in St. Paul, Minn. The ceremony is a time-honored tradition which formally symbolizes the continuity of authority as the command is passed from one individual to another, conducted before the assembled company of the command. Lt. Col. Georgeanne Johnson, the former commander of the 109th AES, assumes her new position as the Deputy Commander of the 133rd Operations Group, 133rd Airlift Wing. USAF photo by Tech. Sgt.
