Twins Armed Services Appreciation Day
Master Sgt. Jamy Tikalsky (far right), a logistics planner with the 133rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, throws out the ceremonial first pitch at a Minnesota Twins game along with other military veterans on the mound during the Twins? seventh annual Armed Services Appreciation Day on July 5, 2009. Master Sgt. Tikalsky recently completed a tour in Afghanistan supporting Operation Enduring Freedom along with hundreds of other Airmen from the Minnesota Air National Guard?s 133rd Airlift Wing from St. Paul, Minn. The Minnesota Twins used the Fourth of July weekend game to honor all members of the armed services and their families during a game with the Detroit Tigers.
