C-130 arrival Volk Field

A 133rd Airlift Wing C-130 "Hercules taxis on the runway at Volk Field, Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center after arrival from St. Paul, Minnesota. The C-130 carries the Advanced Echelon portion of the 133rd Airlift Wing Airmen preparing the way for the "main body" taking part in a operational readiness exercise at Volk field. An OREs provide opportunities to identify and correct essential tasks for the upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection.The other units involved along with the 133rd Airlift Wing are: the EOD from the 123rd Civil Engineering Squadron, Kentucky Air National Guard; the 94th Aerial Port Squadron, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga.; the 156th Airlift Wing, Puerto Rico Air National Guard; and the 375th Air Mobility Wing, Scott AFB, Ill.
