210th EIS in flood response 2011
Minnesota National Guard members input signal data collected from the Remote Communications Platform deployed to the Moorhead, Minn. area April 15, 2011. The collection of data from the RCP's deployment to the Moorhead area will be used in setting up communications during future floods. The RCP gives the National Guard the power to integrate multiple communications systems. The Minnesota National Guard, which predominantly operates using UHF radios, can now be connected with local and state emergency responders, who are using the Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response (ARMER) system.
