F-51D "Mustang"
The F-51D was a fighter-interceptor flown by the 109th FIS and the 179th FIS from 1947 until 1955 when the 179th FIS coverted to the F-94A/B all-weather jet fighter-interceptor and the 109th FIS converted to the T-28 as an interim aircraft. Dimensions Fuselage Length: 32ft. 9.5in. Wing Span: 37ft. 0.5in Height: 13ft. 8in.
