Fire supression system test in the south hangar

The 133rd Airlift Wing tested its fire suppression system designed to put out a fire. Once activated the system filled the south hanger in St. Paul, Minn. with foam wall to wall at a height over six feet on June 15, 2011. The foam used in the test is made up of 97 percent water and is ground water safe.An outline of a C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft can be seen on the floor of the hanger before being covered in foam.
