StandDown reaches out to veterans
Volunteers provide a smile to veterans, many of them homeless, as they check in to StandDown 2011 on Aug. 3, 2011 at the Boy Scout Base Camp in Minneapolis, Minn. The annual event in the Twin Cities metropolitan area provides medical screening and treatment along with other assistance to those in need, all in one location. Medical professionals from the Minnesota Air National Guard worked alongside people from other services and agencies, seeing about 300 people over the two day event. USAF photo by Senior Master Sgt.
