Winter arrives in Minnesota but, the mission continues
Senior Airman Michael Swenson 133rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron seated in a deicing truck uses hot air to remove the snow from the tail of a C-130 “Hercules” on the ramp of the Minnesota Air National Guard Base Jan, 23, 2012 in St Paul, Minnesota. The deicing truck provides a high pressure stream of hot air to remove the ice/snow buildup on the aircraft, similar to a leaf blower allowing the use of less deicing fluid.
