Minnesota Twins honor servicewomen during military appreciation day
Women from all services were honored Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Target Field in Minneapolis as the Minnesota Twins held military appreciation day. A formation of about thirty women in uniform took up part of the outfield as a large flag held by members of the Minnesota National Guard filled up more. The singers for the Star Spangled Banner were 2nd Lt. Darcy Reller and Airman 1st Class Jessica Reller of the 133rd Airlift Wing. Many others, including veterans and family members of the military, took part in activities all day long and received free tickets to see the game. USAF official photo by Staff Sgt. Austen Adriaens
