133rd Airlift Wing Celebrates Family Day Published Sept. 19, 2008 By Staff Sgt. Amber Monio 133rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Friends and relatives of 133rd Airlift Wing members came out to celebrate Family Day Aug. 16, 2008. Visitors had a chance to experience a rock climbing wall, a K-9 demonstration, static aircraft displays, pony rides, an inflatable obstacle course and more. Family Day is an annual event which allows Airmen to show their loved ones around base and provides a fun and unique opportunity to thank them for their support. Family members were able to see where their Guard member works and learn why their job is so important. The day gives families a sense of how 133rd Airlift Wing members are also part of a much larger Guard family.
