Air Expo very successful Published July 19, 2011 By Senior Master Sgt. Mark Moss 133rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs St. Paul -- "Thank you, Minnesota, for celebrating with us at our Air Expo," says Col. Greg Haase, commander of the 133rd Airlift Wing. The 90th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, July 16 for the Minnesota Air National Guard was declared a success by Haase. About fourteen thousand people came to the air base at the Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport. Families, veterans, aircraft enthusiasts and neighbors all took a walk through history and enjoyed displays and demonstrations of the latest U.S. Air Force aircraft and systems. Despite hot weather and low clouds, which caused some demonstrations to be delayed, the crowds were thrilled by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill and Ceremonies Team and jumps from the U.S. Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team.
