Working in Enclosed-Spaces
Members of the 133rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Fuel Systems Maintenance shop, practice on maintenance and repairs tasks in a unique enclosed-space simulator that was created to mimic working in a real aircraft fuel tank in St. Paul, Minn., Feb. 23, 2019. The simulator includes portholes for trainers to coach and critique trainees while they perform the variety of jobs they come across inside of a fuel tank. The ability to get hands-on training, in a difficult to work in a situation, provides invaluable experience that better prepares them for the critical work in the field.
