Chief Master Sgt. Nicole M. Martland is the Command Chief of the 133rd Airlift Wing in St. Paul, MN, serving as the principal advisor to the commander on all enlisted matters. She provides the enlisted perspective on strategic vision, goals, and professional development. Chief Martland is also charged with mentoring the Wing's Senior Enlisted Leaders and aligning their efforts with the command's mission, values, and policies.
Chief Martland began her service with the Minnesota National Guard in 2001 in the 133rd Security Forces Squadron. Immediately upon completing initial training, she was mobilized under Title 10 in support of Operation Noble Eagle. Her career progressed as she cross-trained into Knowledge Operations Management and later, Education and Training. Demonstrating strong leadership, she was selected as a First Sergeant, serving at the Squadron, Group, Wing, and National levels, culminating in her role as the Air National Guard Readiness Center First Sergeant. Chief Martland has deployed in support of Operations Enduing Freedom and Inherent Resolve. Prior to her current role, Chief Martland served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 133rd Mission Support Group.
