While plows conduct snow removal at Volk Field Wisc. January 22, a 133rd Airlift Wing C-130 "Hercules taxis on the runway after arrival from St. Paul, Minnesota. The C-130 carries the Advanced Echelon portion of the 133rd Airlift Wing Airmen preparing the way for the "main body" taking part in a operational readiness exercise at Volk field. An OREs provide opportunities to identify and correct essential tasks for the upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection.The other units involved along with the 133rd Airlift Wing are: the EOD from the 123rd Civil Engineering Squadron, Kentucky Air National Guard; the 94th Aerial Port Squadron, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga.; the 156th Airlift Wing, Puerto Rico Air National Guard; and the 375th Air Mobility Wing, Scott AFB, Ill. In the orange light of the setting sun 15 December 2009 a 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard C-130 H model cargo aircraft prepares for a cold weather training flight. The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft built by Lockheed. Capable of takeoffs and landings from unprepared runways. Air Force One brought President Barak Obama to the Air Guard base at the Minneapolis, St. Paul International Airport for a speech in Minneapolis, and the 133rd Airlift Wing of the Minnesota Air National Guard provided logitical support to the commander in chief.
