Readiness Safeguard

133rd Airlift Wing C-130 "Hercules" are lined up next to a 375th Airlift Wing C-21 Learjet from Scott Air Force base. The C-21 is a twin turbofan engine aircraft used for cargo and passenger airlift. Both units are conducting training missions at Volk Field, Wis. on May 16, 2009. Hundreds of men and women from the Minnesota Air National Guard unit joined others from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois for Readiness Safeguard in preparation for an Operational Readiness Inspection.
